PURPOSE OF THE PROVIDED PERSONAL DATA: All personal data provided to the Institut Borja de Bioètica will be exclusively processed to provide educational and teaching services offered by the organization. Additionally, we may use this data to send you information related to courses, conferences, or other events that may be of interest to you, as offered by the Institut Borja de Bioètica. Your data may be used to create profiles for the purpose of sending you information on continuing education courses related to your expressed interests and/or courses you have taken. If your data is intended to be used for purposes other than those mentioned above, you will be informed of the new purpose and asked for consent.

DATA RETENTION: Personal data provided will be retained for as long as educational services are provided by INSTITUTO BORJA DE BIOÉTICA. It will not be deleted until you (or your legal representative) exercise the right to deletion as recognized in this privacy policy.

LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING: The legal basis for processing data at the Institut Borja de Bioètica is the express consent of the individual concerned.

Protection against Harmful Elements: Avoid introducing, storing, or disseminating on the Websites any computer programs, data, viruses, code, hardware, telecommunications equipment, or any other electronic or physical instrument or device that could potentially harm the Websites, services, or any equipment, systems, or networks of INSTITUTO BORJA DE BIOÉTICA, other Users, or third parties. Protection of User Credentials: Adequately safeguard the provided “User Name” (Login) and “Password” (Password) as identification elements granted by INSTITUTO BORJA DE BIOÉTICA for access to various services offered on its website. Until such notification is made, THE BORJA INSTITUTE OF BIOETHICS shall be exempt from any liability resulting from the improper use of identifiers or passwords by unauthorized third parties.
6. No Commercial Exploitation: Refrain from engaging in advertising, promotional, or commercial activities on the Websites. This includes not using the content, especially the information obtained from the Website, for sending advertisements, sales messages, or any other commercial purposes. Users must also avoid collecting or storing personal data of third parties.
7. Authentic Identity: Users must not adopt false identities or impersonate others when using the Websites or their services. This includes not using third-party passwords or access codes or any other means of impersonation.
8. Data Integrity: Users must not destroy, alter, use for personal gain, disable, or harm the data, information, programs, or electronic documents of INSTITUTO BORJA DE BIOÉTICA.
